|Some smartphones come along that you can just talk about all day long. And Nokia’s new N8 due out soon is one such phone. This is a smartphone with a difference that really puts it in a class of its own. It’s a physically big phone weighing in at 135gms, with a 3.5-inch capacitive screen that comes in a range of fab colors, Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue, Orange, its super energy efficient and it’s 100% recyclable.|
|But for all its size it comes with a host of features that makes this handset a wonder. It has a 12-megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss optics, a Zenon flash which makes it first in its class. It has a video option that can be used for video calling + an HD video option and you can edit your films with the inbuilt editing suite on the device.
This is also the first handset to run on Nokia/Symbian’s new next-generation operating system Symbian ^3OS. It has tons of memory storage 16GB, but you can ramp it up to 48GB with a micro SD card so you can record up to 3 hours of Video or 50 hours of Music playback and so that you can hear it properly it has Dolby surround sound. And as it runs on 2 or 3g, you can make a call on any GSM network anywhere in the world and why explain why you’re running late.
And if all that wasn’t enough…you can customize the home screen too with 3 different interfaces. Phew, I’m exhausted.
