Charging A Phone By Spinning It On Your Finger

One of the biggest issues with mobile phones is recharging them. We all say we are going to switch off the charger when it’s done, but how many of us actually do?

It’s a problem designers are working 24/7 to come up with innovative ways in which to charge our phones at the same time reducing our carbon footprint.

British Designer Matteo Trisloni has come up with the EC509 Green core and spin to charge, yes that’s right. You put your finger in the green hole and spin it. The phone uses kinetic energy to charges it self on each turn. Those of us that had toy Winchester Colts as kids will have endless fun with this phone.
It comes with all the usual eco saving devices that one would expect of a phone of this calibre. Plus it has an LED battery indicator and recycled PET screen cover.

Interestingly to mention, in an effort to get your old phone back Nokia has wrapped the EC 509 Green Core in a carton with a free postage sticker which users can use to send their current mobile phone back in.
